Ph Potential of hydrogen is basically a scale which tell us the quality of water that our water is alkaline or acidic. The PH scale  varies from 1-14. If PH scale shows the value of water less than 7, it means its acidic and if water has a PH value more than 7, it means its alkaline. The water minerals

like calcium, magnesium and sodium reflect the quality of water. For poultry the best drinking water should be between 6 to 6.8. If the PH of drinking water remains between 4-8, then you should not worry because the poultry birds can digest the water whose Ph remains between 4-8. But if the water ph level remains less than 4 then poultry (chicken) can face the issues of digestion problem and weak immune system. And this water also can create corrosion in the drinkers, and water tank.
                          
If yours birds drinking water remains with more than 8 PH level then the water consumption of birds can be reduce which directly effects the poultry growth . So provide broiler poultry a healthy water, for it you should need to check up the water quality regularly. If you have found any issue related to PH level you should have to use the sanitizer and filter for best results.
