There are lot of factors which are
responsible for determination  the production cost of broiler poultry. In this article we will do just calculate the production cost of  1000 broiler baby  chicken to grow up till market. In modern days the life of broilers left only 30-35 days due to advancements in the quality of broiler poultry feed. So here we doing  estimate production cost of broiler chicken to raise them from baby chicks to grower (Marketin). The construction cost of chicken house (1200 sequare feet area), installations of equipment and accessories has not been

1. Broiler Feed :- It is the most important factor when you are preparing the estimating cost of the of broilers, because you should have to spend almost 65%
amount of the total investment on only their (broilers chicken ) feed, so here you can guess what's broiler feed consumption and how much it costly.

2. Chicks Cost :- You have to spend 25% from the total investment of broilers on the purchase  of baby chicks. The cost of the chicks can  vary with breed or broiler market rate.

3. Medicines :- There are some medicines which we  have to  need for the proper growth and prevention of broiler chickens from diseases. Chicken medicines are little costly, so you have to spend almost 4% from the total investment on the broilers
medicines. If there is lack of chicken management then the chicks have to suffer with physical issues, and the cost on medicines can  be increase.

4. Miscellaneous Expenses :-  Electricity bill, litter handling, Labour are some other type of expenses which you have to involve for the calculation of total investment.

 For illustration if  your total investment on 1000 broilers is  3000$
Approx. Cost of 60 bags for 1000 broiler chicken = 1950$
Cost of 1000 baby chicks = 750$
Cost of medicine =120$
Miscellaneous expenses =180$

Note :- It is just a calculation to evaluation the production cost of alive broilers. The broiler feed rates, baby chicks and prepared grower chicken rates don't always remain constant. So here you can get an idea to calculate the estimate the production cost of broiler poultry.
