Sometime we found undigest feed in the litter (bedding) of broiler poultry. Its just due to the undigestion. It is also known as feedy diarrhoea in Chickens. Diarrhoea should be prohibted as soon as possible, because diarrhoea is responsible for poor growth and high FCR in poultry.There are a lot of reason behind diarrhoea which are given below. 1. Due to the change the level of Protein. -: When we give to start the finisher feed from starter feed. Then the level of protein in feed changes. Because starter feed has protein value of 23% approx and finisher contains protein value of 21%. Some birds cannot digest it, then it becomes a reason of                                               loose dropping in chicken. So you should have to give them mixed (Starter-Finisher) feed before to go start with finisher feed. PH for driniking water of Poultry/Chickens Ph Potential of hydrogen is basically a scale which tell us the quality of water that our water is alkaline or acidic. The PH scale  varies from 1-14. If PH scale shows the value of water less than 7, it means its acidic and if water has a PH value more than 7, it means its alkaline. For poultry the best drinking water should be between 6 to 6.8. If the PH of drinking water remains between 4-8, then you should not worry because the poultry birds can digest the water whose Ph remains between 4-8. You can use green grass for Chicks, chickens and other Poultry as a feed alternative  after 18-20 day. Green grass ( Trifolium alexandrinum)  can be given to broiler chicken directly or mixing in their feed. It gives poultry necessary vitamins, minerals and protien. After 18-20 days broiler birds needs almost 19 percentage of protein. Some specific kind of grass can be utilize in poultry/chicken farming. Some type of hermals may be harmful for birds, if you donot have necessary knowledge about the kind of grass, then you donot need to give them that kind of grass. Here we are using grass that is used for dairy farming for buffalows and cows. If you give them ( broiler ) good quality green grass yours birds will grow smoothly.
