Coccidiosis is a common protozoan disease in poultry. It is also known as cocci or bloody diarrhea. Because chicken starts bloody discharge/dropping.

Syptoms of Coccidiosis in chicken and  other Poultry 

1. There can be blood in their poops (discharge).

2. Chicken skin color looks like pale.
3. They looks unactive.

Prevention of Coccidiosis in chicken and  other Poultry 

1 Use fresh and clean water.
2 Give them healthy feed, yours feed should not fall on their litter.
3 Poultry litter should not be wet.
4 Prevent over crowding.

Treatment of Coccidiosis in chicken and  other Poultry 

There are a lot of medicine which are used to treat Coccidiosis  . But i will discuss some of them which i used in my chicks. First of all you should need to keep your chicken management of high level, so that you can prevent  birds from the diseases. If there is a need of antibiotics, you should have to go with the herbals antibiotics, and if the condition becomes very critical, then you can use one from the following antibiotics.

1 Use Amprolium powder.
2 Use of Toltrazuril.
3 Use of Ionophores.
4 Use of Alo vera (Herbal).
